Program Description

The Infectious Diseases Outpatient Clinic provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment for patients with suspected infectious diseases. Clinical management of patients with chronic illnesses such as osteomyelitis, HIV infection, immune deficiencies, tuberculosis, and fungal infections are also overseen by this division.

Our specialties include:

AIDS Clinical Trials Unit which allows our patients with HIV infection to be enrolled in clinical studies evaluating new drugs for the treatment of their infection. In general, drugs and laboratory studies are free to patient in these studies.
 
Our Travelers Clinic provides immunizations, prophylatic antibiotics and medical advice for travel anywhere in the world. Individuals that may have travel-related illnesses are seen in the Infectious Disease Outpatient clinics.
