Nancy Gaba, MD, FACOG, is an associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology for The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her clinical interests are in menstrual dysfunction, management and treatment of fibroids, female sexual function and dysfunction, adolescent gynecology, cervical abnormalities, colposcopy and management of HPV. She is the Director of the Division of General Gynecology.
Dr. Gaba has presented at national meetings including the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) and the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG). She has been nationally recognized for her commitment to improving medical education, and in 2006 completed the prestigious Ethicon Educational Scholars Program, sponsored by the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Additionally, Dr. Gaba has published in major medical journals including The American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and The Journal of Reproductive Medicine, and has longstanding service as the Director of the OB/GYN Residency Program at The George Washington University.
Dr. Gaba completed her medical education at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and was administrative chief resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Gaba received a BA in biopsychology from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY.
