Breast Augmentation

Patients may experience temporary pain, swelling, bruising or a change in nipple sensation. Potential complications include implant rupture, development of scar tissue, bleeding, infection, a change in the sensitivity of the nipples. Patients generally return to work within a week or two. It may take several months to a year or more for scars to fade. The larger the implant, the more unnatural the result.
