Free Prostate Screenings Every Friday

Each Friday, the GW Cancer Institute offers free prostate cancer screenings for men in the D.C. Metro Area.

Included will be a PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) test and digital rectal exam. Prostate tests are suggested for all men age 50+ and African American men age 40+. African American men and those with a family history of the disease are at increased risk for prostate cancer. This test should not be used for a second opinion.
Space is limited, so register today!
Major Prostate Risks Include:
- Age (Most patients are over 65)
- Family History
- Race (African Americans are more likely to get this type of cancer)
- Diets heavy in red meat and high-fat dairy products, and low in vegetables and fruit
- Physical Inactivity
