AHA Courses

CPR, AED and First Aid Training Programs – These important courses are specificallydesigned for the general public, employees and community. Courses range from 2-8hours and can cover Adult CPR and choking, infant CPR, Adult First Aid (such asasthma, chest pain, bandaging, splinting and diabetic emergencies), and adult AED.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider Courses - ACLS emphasizesthe importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration ofeffective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions;and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

This course is primarily designed for emergency, intensive care, or critical carehealthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians,paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - The goal of the PALS course is to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to pediatric healthcare providers in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children,resulting in improved outcomes.

This course is designed primarily for pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.
