Professor of Surgery
Steven Bielamowicz, MD, FACS is director of the Voice Treatment Center and chief of Otolaryngology at the GW Medical Faculty Associates, as well as, professor of surgery at The GWU School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in 1988 and completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA in 1994. He became board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 1995. He completed a Laryngology fellowship at the NIH in 1996 and has an interest in the physiology and modeling of laryngeal function. Dr. Bielamowicz is the Program Director for the Otolaryngology training program and his clinical practice is limited to voice and swallowing disorders.
