A multi-disciplinary staff and a conservative approach to therapy distinguish The Epilepsy Center at The GW Medical Faculty Associates from similar facilities. Each year, more than 2,000 patients with epilepsy and other seizure disorders visit from around the world for comprehensive evaluation and treatment by members of the Center's medical team. Neurologists, neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychiatrists, nurses, rehabilitation specialists and social workers collaborate to develop a specific treatment program for each of the Center's patients.
