GENOMIC MEDICINE
AT THE GW MEDICAL FACULTY ASSOCIATES
Genomic Medicine at The GW Medical Faculty Associates
Personalized medicine is a medical model which emphasizes exploiting information about an individual patient to customize their preventative and therapeutic care. No data is more specific or more critical in care plan development, than the fingerprint offered by a patient's very DNA.
At the Center for Genomic Medicine at The GW Medical Faculty Associates, our researchers study microarrays, gene transfer, and DNA sequencing to extend the capabilities of our clinicians as they formulate treatment plans and guide patient care.
The study of genomics is forging new pathways of understanding about genes, disease, and personalized treatments.
