Suzanne Sweidan, MD is a hospital based internist with The GW Medical Faculty Associates. Dr. Sweidan is also an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She attended the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of California, Davis Medical Center and California Pacific Medical Center. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Sweidan worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings for many years in California before recently moving to Washington, DC. She joined the staff at GW in 2011 as an academic hospitalist, providing care for hospitalized patients. Her clinical interests include medical education, patient-doctor communication, diabetes management and obesity treatment and prevention.
