Adam Possner, MD, is an internist with The GW Medical Faculty Associates and an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine with The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
Dr. Possner completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and his residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview in Baltimore, where he served as chief resident. His areas of clinical interest include general internal medicine, preventive medicine, palliative care, and medical student and resident education. A Liberal Arts major at heart, Dr. Possner also enjoys writing short stories and poetry. He is published in several medical journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and the Annals of Internal Medicine.
