Dr. David Popiel is a General Internal Medicine physician at The George Washington Unversity Medical Faculty Associates. After graduating from the University of Chicago with a degree in Biological Sciences, Dr. Popiel attended medical school at the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He gained an MPH degree at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and finished his internal medicine training at the George Washington University Medical Center. Prior to joining The MFA, Dr. Popiel completed a year as Chief Medical Resident during which he was named to the AOA medical honor society at George Washington University.
Dr. Popiel practices general internal medicine with an interest in patient education. He is involved with medical education at both the resident and medical student level.
