At The GW Medical Faculty Associates, we are pioneering new approaches to minimally invasive endoscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Sometimes the procedures are performed through a few tiny incisions. Sometimes they're performed through one incision or no visible incision at all. For most patients, that means reduced risk of complications and scarring, less pain, and a faster recovery.
Robotic surgery is an advanced technique which offers a magnified, 3-D view of the surgical field, along with instrumentation which allows the surgeon more dexterity and control.
