About Guinevere Que

Guinevere Que, Nurse Practitioner is an appointed clinical instructor for the GW School of Medicine as well as an adjunct professor for the GW Nurse Practitioner Program. She graduated Cum Laude and received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Nursing specializing in Adult Health from Hunter College School of Nursing. NP Que grew up in New York City but started her career as a registered nurse at George Washington University Hospital taking care of acute stroke and post neurosurgical patients. While earning her nurse practitioner degree, she was awarded a full scholarship and interned at Bellevue Hospital in New York, New York University, Mount Sinai Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center.

Her clinical interests include women’s health in relation to general neurology,stroke and she provides lumbar puncture service for providers in DC metro area. She has been involved in multidisciplinary care teams including the world renowned George Washington University ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) clinic as well as the newly formed TAC ( Thriving after Cancer) clinic. NP Que has been a sub principal investigator in multiple studies and is committed to providing clinical instruction to nurse practitioners, physician assistants and medical students. Her medical philosophy has always been first and foremost to educate patients about how their bodies work and partnering with her patients to decide on strategies for achieving optimum health and maximizing their physical functionality.
