Dr. Ahmad Khaldi
About Dr. Ahmad Khaldi

Ahmad Khaldi, M.D., M.S., is a neurosurgeon and co-director of cerebrovascular neurosurgery at The GW Medical Faculty Associates.  He is also an assistant professor of neurosurgery at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Pharmacology and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia (MCV), Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).   He completed his neurosurgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Following the residency training in neurosurgery, Dr. Khaldi obtained fellowship training in the area of endovascular treatment of cerebral diseases from the University of Florida.


He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the joint AANS/CNS cerebrovascular section, and the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery (SNIS).


Dr. Khaldi has interests in cerebrovascular diseases including stroke, brain aneurysms, carotid disease and arteriovenous malformation (AVM).  Dr. Khaldi performs both open surgical procedures (Craniotomy, aneurysm clipping, carotid endarterectomy, AVM resection, cavernous malformation, and brain tumors) and endovascular treatments of cerebrovascular diseases (aneurysm coiling, extra-cranial carotid/vertebral artery stenting, intracranial artery stenting, embolization of AVM, and embolization of head/neck tumors).
