Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology
Geneva Cleveland, OD, is the director of Contact Lens Services at The GW Medical Faculty Associates. She is a recent addition to the Washington, DC area after training on Long Island, New York and in St. Louis, Missouri. Upon completion of her residency in Primary Eye Care and Vision Rehabilitation at the Northport Veterans Administration Medical Center, she and her husband relocated to northern Virginia.
As a clinical assistant instructor at SUNY College of Optometry, she was able to foster her love for education, precepting optometry students from colleges throughout the east coast. Additionally, she has been able to lecture on a variety of eye health topics to students, peers, and patients.
Dr. Cleveland is interested in building long-lasting relationships with her patients and hopes to foster clear communication and trust.
Dr. Cleveland is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is pursuing a fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry.
