Natalie Nicolas, BS RDN LD, has been a practicing dietitian since 2009. She is the current dietitian for the Department of Internal Medicine, as well as the primary dietitian for the Weight Management and Cancer Survivorship Clinics. Ms. Nicolas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Maryland, College Park. She then completed a dietetic internship through Sodexo Healthcare Services. In the Fall of 2014, she obtained a Certificate in Adult Weight Management provided through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Before working at the MFA, Ms. Nicolas was an inpatient and outpatient dietitian who covered a high-risk perinatal unit and a neonatal intensive care unit. Her outpatient work focused primarily on weight management and diabetes. Her current interests are in weight management, disease prevention, and digestive health. She also likes to practice motivational interviewing and incorporate intuitive and mindful eating practices.
