Our Board-Certified Interventional Radiologists at The GW Medical Faculty Associates offer a medical specialty which seeks to enhance patient care by merging the use of clinical and image-based diagnostics with minimally invasive treatments. Interventional Radiologists pioneered the use of balloon angioplasty, vascular stent procedures, and other major medical advances that can often replace open surgical procedures.
