Hope for Living with Epilepsy

We understand the unique challenges faced by people living with epilepsy. That’s why the GW Epilepsy Center takes an individualized approach to each patient we serve. Our multidisciplinary team is here for you and will treat you like family.

The GW Epilepsy Center is recognized as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center by The National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC), the highest distinction awarded by the NAEC. This means that we meet the highest standard of care, and provide advanced diagnosis and treatment options to eliminate or stabilize seizures.

Our technology includes continuous video-EEG monitoring for identifying episodes as either epileptic or non-epileptic, as well as implantable devices like vagus nerve stimulators (VNS). Plus, as part of an academic medical university, we offer access to clinical trials for emerging treatments that may help you.

Health is your top priority. Ours too.

At GW, you can get the care you need with peace of mind. We offer virtual health appointments and take extensive measures to help keep you safe when you need to visit us in-person.
