Biography

Amanda-Gay Edwards received her Bachelor's of Science degree in biology from Howard University in 2011. She then worked as a research assistant with a focus on degenerative neurological disorders in the neuroscience department of the Georgetown medical center. Amanda then returned to Howard University for a second bachelors in health science, and earned a Masters in Physician Assistants in 2018, awarded the Chair of the Department award. She obtained her certification as a Physician Assistant shortly thereafter. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is licensed in Washington DC, Virginia, and Florida. Amanda’s professional interests include interventional, spine procedures, spinal cord, stimulator, technology, and spinal cord injury research.
