Emily Korenchuk, MSN, RN, CRNP (pronouns: she, her, hers) is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner at the GW Medical Faculty Associates in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her BSN from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2014, and subsequently worked in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She then earned her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania after completing the Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner program. Prior to joining the MFA, Emily worked as a clinician specialist at Planned Parenthood of Maryland where she provided comprehensive GYN and reproductive health services.
Emily takes pride in providing nonjudgmental, compassionate, and patient-centered care. She has experience treating patients who have experienced trauma, as well as young adults and women who have never sought GYN care before. She prioritizes listening to her patients in an effort to provide holistic healthcare, and creating an environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health concerns.
Emily lives outside of DC and enjoys music, baking, caring for houseplants, and traveling.
