Hai Chen, MD, PhD is an assistant professor in Neurology at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Chen is a clinician educator with a long-standing interest in neurology and epilepsy. He completed clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy fellowship training after neurology residency. He is board certified in neurology, epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He provides seizure patients care in both inpatient and outpatient clinic settings. His clinical interests include intractable epilepsy, anti-epileptic medications and epilepsy surgery. He is also the principle investigator for an anti-epileptic medication clinical trial at George Washington University. He has presented his work in epilepsy at multiple national conferences including American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society and American Clinical Neurophysiology Society annual meetings.
