Jacob M. Elkon, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology & Oncology at the GW Cancer Center.
Dr. Elkon earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. He received his Medical Degree at Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, GA. He completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at George Washington University Hospital.
Dr. Elkon’s interests are making individual treatment plans for a variety of diseases, HIV and malignancy, medical education, mentoring trainees and medical decision making.
Dr. Elkon is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible in Hematology and Oncology. He is licensed in the District of Columbia. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
