Jason M. Prior, MD is a hospitalist with The GW Medical Faculty Associates and an assistant professor of medicine with The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and graduated medical school from Tulane University School of Medicine. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society as a junior medical student and went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. After residency, he relocated with his wife to Washington, DC and joined The GW Medical Faculty Associates as a hospitalist.
Dr. Prior works exclusively in the inpatient setting caring for acutely ill individuals who are admitted to the hospital. His clinical and academic interests include evidence based medicine, graduate medical education, transitions in care and quality improvement.
