Dr. Jill M. Paulson is an Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at George Washington Medical Faculty Associates and George Washington University School of Medicine. She is the Program Director for the Fellowship Program in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at George Washington University.

She received her undergraduate degree with honors in biology from Brown University and her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School in Boston. After practicing as a hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess and Beth Israel Deaconess-Needham, she completed a three-year fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism in a combined program between Joslin Diabetes Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Paulson was on faculty in the Division of Endocrinology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/ Harvard Medical School. She then joined a multispecialty group for two years prior to joining MFA in the beginning of 2015.
 
Dr. Paulson is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Additionally, she is certified in neck ultrasonography through the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU).  She is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology as well as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.  She serves on national committees for both AACE and the American Thyroid Association (ATA). She also serves as a board member of the Mid-Atlantic AACE Chapter.
 
Areas of interest include Graduate Medical Education, Medical School Education, as well as clinical interests in thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer, calcium metabolism, adrenal, diabetes, and general endocrinology.
