Kathleen Rausch, MD completed her medical school education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed an accredited four year OB/GYN residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York where she was selected as her graduating class's Chief Resident. She has served as a past OB/GYN Department Chair for Reston Hospital Center, and on the Reston Hospital's Medical Board as a Member at Large. She continues to serve on rotating committees for Reston Hospital.
Dr. Rausch has been managing her general OB/GYN practice in Northern Virginia for the past 20 plus years. Besides enjoying taking care of general OB/GYN patients, her clinical interests include management and delivery of high risk obstetrical patients, and adolescent gynecologic care. Dr. Rausch takes great efforts in making a young woman's first gynecologic visit educational and respectful.
On a personal note, Dr. Rausch is a working mom of two teenage sons, makes time to enjoy yoga, swimming, reading, learning cello, and beekeeping.
