Mary Brandenburg, NP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Orthopaedics. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, and went back get her Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma from Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Development. She continued in her studies and earned her Associates of Science in Nursing from Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama, followed by Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa Alabama, and her Masters in Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio. She has worked in orthopedics throughout her nursing career, earning her Orthopedic Nursing Certification as a Registered Nurse and has 16 months clinic practice with 8 months experience in orthopedics. Mrs. Brandenburg manages acute and chronic orthopedic condition using various modalities including: lifestyle and weight management, activity modification, pharmacotherapy, joint and soft tissue aspirations, injection therapy (steroid and Visco supplementation) and casting, splinting and bracing. As a provider, her goal is to assist patients reach their maximum potential for physical functioning by using patient centered at integrative approaches to their care.
