Meghan Valentine, MD is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist with the GW Medical Faculty Associates and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Valentine received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her residency at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Valentine's clinical interests include preventive care, contraceptive options, adolescent gynecology, abnormal uterine bleeding, and minimally invasive surgery. She performs office procedures including diagnostic hysteroscopy, saline infusion sonography, Essure sterilization, colposcopy, and LEEP. Her academic interests include education at both the medical student and resident level. She is an active member of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and The Society for Academic Generalists (SASGOG).
Dr. Valentine feels privileged to work with women and their families throughout their lives. She looks forward to partnering with her patients and using the best evidence-based medicine to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
