Moazma Shahid is a certified Nurse Practitioner at The GW Medical Faculty Associates department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine.
Moazma received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain college of Nursing, 2014 and a Master of Science in Nursing, 2019 – Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the American College of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and licensed in the state of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining The GW Medical Faculty Associates, Moazma started her career in the Inova hospital’s cardiac unit. She then transitioned her profession towards Kaiser Permanente as a Registered Nurse in the skin cancer surgery and Internal Medicine department.
While at Kaiser, she spent majority of her time in the high-volume Internal Medicine department working along side doctors and nurses caring for acute and chronic-care patients.
Moazma’s special interest resides in serving diverse population groups with a focus on providing proactive and preventative care management.
