Najeebah A. Bade, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology & Oncology at the GW Cancer Center.
Dr. Bade earned her Medical Degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed Internal Medicine Residency at Georgetown University Hospital and then a year-long Research Fellowship in Hematology (specifically in Hemostasis and Thrombosis) at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Bade then completed her fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at University of Maryland Medical Center where she served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Bade's interests include non-malignant hematology. Her specific clinical and research interests include thrombosis, hemostasis, medication and intervention induced coagulopathy, and hematologic complications in pregnancy.
Dr. Bade is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology, and board eligible in Oncology. She is licensed in the District of Columbia. She is a member of several professional organizations including American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, International Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis, and Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society.
