Patricia Latham, MD is board-certified in Anatomic Pathology and Internal Medicine. She is a professor, Chief of Autopsy Service, and an internist with expertise in Hepatology in the Division of Gastroenterology at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
Dr. Latham attended medical school at the University of Southern California. She completed both her Internal Medicine residency and Hepatology fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She completed her Anatomic Pathology residency at Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Latham has additional training specifically in hepatobiliary disorders. She cares for patients in clinic and interprets liver pathology seen in liver biopsy or surgical tissue specimens. Dr. Latham is also active in research concerning problems in liver disease and in the training of medical students and residents.
