Patrick W. Mufarrij, MD, is a urologist and an assistant professor with The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.  

Originally from the Washington area, Dr. Mufarrij completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at Georgetown University. He then moved to New York City where he completed a six-year residency in Urology at NYU Langone Medical Center. After residency, Dr. Mufarrij pursued special training in endourology and completed a two-year fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he focused on metabolic kidney stone disease, surgery for complex kidney stones, percutaneous renal surgery, and robotic surgery.  

Dr. Mufarrij is a published author and has a particular interest in the management of complex kidney stones, percutaneous access for the removal of kidney stones, prevention and metabolic evaluation of recurrent kidney stones, and robotic surgery for the reconstruction of the urinary tract.
