Dr. Regina Escano is a Doctor of Audiology at the GW Medical Faculty Associates within the division of Otolaryngology. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010 from Marymount Manhattan College in Psychology with a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Dr. Escano attended the University of Washington and completed her doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) in 2014. While a graduate student, she was awarded the Leadership in Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) training grant both in her third year at the University of Washington and during her clinical externship year at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Escano has worked as a clinical audiologist in the hospital setting. She has a particular interest in tinnitus diagnostics and rehabilitation, hearing aids, bone conduction devices, hearing protection, hearing conservation and cochlear implants. Dr. Escano holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
