Sarah Sanders, MD completed her Medical Degree at LSUHSC New Orleans School of Medicine; after completing a one-year Internship, she embarked on her Internal Medicine Residency at the same institution. Dr. Sanders served as one of two chief Residents at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans/ University Medical Center, which she completed in June 2020. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is licensed in the District of Columbia.
Dr. Sanders interest lie in inpatient care, creating relationships with patients, managing acute and chronic medical problems, inter-professional communication, patient education, and coordination of care to provide a positive experience. Dr. Sanders has gained great interest and satisfaction in teaching Residents and other learners. She hopes to be able to provide high quality healthcare and develop the next generation of Internal Medicine physicians.
