Special Communication Needs

Interpreter services for both American Sign Language (ASL) and over 100 spoken languages are available 24/7 to all patients and families for appointments. Interpretation is provided by video and phone through our language service vendors. The services are provided on demand which provides immediate access to qualified interpreters with no need to schedule these ahead of time. There is no cost to patients or families for interpretation at the MFA.

 

How Do I Get an Interpreter?

When scheduling your appointment, if not asked, please let us know that you need interpreter services. The physician’s office is equipped to ensure that interpretation is available for your visit.

When calling the office, our staff can also add an interpreter to the call when needed.
