Amanda Michael, MD is an Assistant Professor and General Neurologist in the Department of Neurology at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Michael received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She completed a neurology residency at Saint Louis University.
Her clinical interests include managing a breadth of neurological conditions. Dr. Michael has a special interest in headache disorders and multiple sclerosis. She sees patients in the neurology outpatient clinic and attends the stroke and general neurology inpatient services.
Her academic interests include multiple sclerosis research, medical student education and resident education. She is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Neurology, American Medical Association and the American Headache Society.
