Make a Gift to the GW Memory Care Program

Consider a gift to our program as we work to improve access to quality dementia care in the Washington Capital Region.

Future Plans:

• Sponsoring a patient and family resource room for memory care
• Building dedicated outpatient clinic space for a comprehensive memory care clinic
• Supporting a community health worker to engage with patients and caregivers to promote education, caregiver training, and personal advocacy
• Developing a telehealth care delivery system for in home specialized memory care
• Sponsoring a research fellow to improve access to and opportunities for clinical research
• Sponsoring faculty education initiatives for community programs
• Support to send medical students, residents, and fellows to conferences to present projects from Memory Clinic and encourage ongoing work in cognitive health
• Support cognitive health and delirium prevention during hospitalizations through program development and environmental modifications
